Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Ho on 19 November 1972, in London. The daughter of Chinese parents as well as French mothers. As a young girl the family relocated from the Chinese region to Canada. Her first job was as Paris catwalk models before deciding to make a profession of acting. Her film debut was in the role of Annuka in the year 1991 with Black Robe. The actress was nominated for a Canadian Oscar nominee for this character.
